- Ventilation - Ppen windows and doors, especially in the morning and after cooking or showering.
- Heating - Use your heating to keep your home warm, especially in the winter. This can help prevent condensation from forming on cold walls.
- Dehumidifier - Use a dehumidifier to help with damp, but it's only a temporary solution.
- Damp Proofing - To resolve rising damp, you can install a damp proofing course (DPC) or a damp membrane. A DPC is injected into holes in the masonry, while a damp membrane acts as a physical barrier.
